Bonded and Formed Hose

Bonding hoses improves the managment of the hose in application, while eliminating many of the reasons that cause hose damage and hose failure.

Bonded Hose

Bonded multi-line hoses improve the management of the hose and increases the overall strength, eliminating some of the reasons hoses fail in the field. A bonded hose is particularly beneficial in lift trucks, hydraulic crane and aerial lift applications. Multi-Line hoses consist of two to ten hoses (or a maximum width of 10") in various combinations of sizes and types. Hoses can be separated to allow for routing, where needed.

Twin-Line Hose

Twin-Line hoses consist of two hoses permanently joined for the entire length of the hose, offering a compact system for easy installation and smooth operation. A standard twin-line hose keeps side by side single line hydraulic hoses from rolling over each other under pressure, (sometimes referred to as a "spaghetti effect"). It also reduces unexpected downtime, maintenance calls and field claims. In addition, inventory reductions come from the consolidation of two hoses into one.

Formed Hose

Parflex formed hose and tubing serves as a fundamental problem solver for applications with formed steel tubes, hose-tube combinations, and conventional hose. Formed hose is rigid but flexible, which allows for ease of installation and consistent repeatability. Formed hose and tubing has the ability to maintain and preserve its shape once formed so it can be routed throughout small, hard-to-reach areas, leading to fewer connecting points and eliminating the need for hose-tube combinations.

Multi-Line & Formed Solutions To Extend Hose Life

Customers want hose assemblies that exceed their expectations and maximize the life of the hose. For years, the Parflex team has worked closely with customers to help create solutions that reduce abrasion and maximize the overall hose life of each hose. With a Parflex bonded and formed hoses, it is common for custmers to increase hose life leading to less replacements, downtimes and headaches.

Multi-line Bonded Hose Assemblies

Parflex regularly bonds multiple hoses into a single hose assembly, substantially reducing hose to cable track tangling and abrasion damage resulting from individual hoses assemblies rubbing against each other.

Formed Hose & Tubing

Parflex hose and tubing that is formed to fit specific application requirements offer ultimate efficiency by reducing labor installation costs and extending the life of the hose and tube through reduced abrasion damage.

Parflex Over-The-Sheave Applications

If a hose fails, it not only results in costly downtime and maintenance, but it also creates a potentially hazardous situation for equipment. Bonded forklift hoses can withstand the strains of heavy duty equipment and continual hose flexing.
