O-Seals & Diamond Seals
Both seal geometries can be customized to consolidate multiple axial seals into a single sealing element. The single seal will eliminate the chance of misassembling seals when diameters are similar, or forgetting to install a seal when there are several placed on the assembly at the same time.
In addition to reducing errors, using a single O-Seal or Diamond Seal will have faster assembly time compared to the time it takes to place multiple seals on the flange.
Each O-Seal and Diamond Seal is designed for the unique application where it will be placed.
Material Availability
- O-Seals are available in a broad range of materials (neoprene, butyl, nitrile, HNBR, silicone and fluorosilicone, EPDM/EPR, Aflas, FKM and FFKM)
- Specialty approved materials include UL 157, NSF Standard 61, USP Class VI, FDA White List, and a variety of ASTM, MIL, and SAE certified materials
The O-Seal has a round cross section like an O-ring and the Diamond Seal has a diamond shaped cross section.
