Sintered laminates made from stainless steel wire mesh that is versatile, durable and easily cleaned. Used for gas, liquid and polymer applications.

Quality. Innovation. Performance

Industries that depend on extrusion processes such as the plastic and synthetic fibers industries have discovered that a one-size-fits-all, off the shelf screens can actually cost more after adding the many hidden costs of cleaning, downtime, product quality and scrap. Parker Hannifin provides customers with effective engineered solutions to improve filtration performance in all types of polymer applications. Parker designed these solutions to improve product quality, extend the life of the filter and reduce total operating costs.

Filter Plate Laminates

Parker's Filter Plate Laminate media is constructed using our unique diffusion-bonding process to laminate layers of woven, stainless steel wire cloth. This process creates an integrated yet porous plate that eliminates media migration. The particle size retention rating is governed by the choice of filter mesh; the other four layers are carefully chosen to protect the filter layer and to maximize strength and permeability. TWM and BWM types of laminate are available to meet your process and system needs.

Perforated Plate Laminates

Parker can manufacture a perforated laminate plate (PWM™) to your specifications, or design one for you. PWM's™ are used in many applications, such as liquid filtration where maximum permeability and strength is required. PWM's™ are available in filtration ratings from 2 to 2000 microns, and in various configurations. For example, safe edges can be supplied so the media can be formed into tubular filter elements. Please call us with your requirements and specifications today!

Foil Mesh™

Parker's proprietary molecular diffusion-bonding process may be used to laminate one or more layers of woven wire mesh to a sheet of metal foil. In the simplest case, a single layer of wire mesh is laminated to a sheet of thin-gauge rolled foil. This type of basic two-layer laminate is sold under our Foil-Mesh™ trademark and is widely used in applications ranging from heat pipes and satellite-based ionic propulsion systems to orthodontic appliances. Please contact us or customized Foil-Mesh™ structures and solutions.

LWD™ Stainless Steel Filter Disc

Dynapore® porous metal laminates are constructed of one or more layers of carefully selected stainless steel wire mesh, laminated by precision sintering (diffusion bonding) and calendaring. The resultant monolithic structure is permanently bonded and has highly uniform porosity.

Filter Elements

Poroplate® filters were developed to replace poorly performing sintered porous metal, wedge-wire, string wound and other types of cartridges. In many instances, flow rates may be dramatically improved without compromising filtration efficiency. In other instances, frequency of downtime for element cleaning and replacement may be sharply reduced, resulting in savings which can far outweigh initial retrofit costs.

Fluidizing Media

LFM™, HFM™, and PCM™ controlled permeability media is the superior choice for your fluidized material handling needs. Utilizing precision diffusion-bonding (sintering) technology, Parker manufactures fluidizing media that exhibit outstanding mechanical properties.
