The Gemini is a proven winner in the field, doing the work of a gas filter-separator and vertical gas coalescer combined, by delivering ultra-clean gas with high-efficiency removal of solid and liquid contaminants, while effectively handling higher inlet solids and liquid loads than conventional gas coalescers.
It can lower capital investment spend by eliminating the need to buy two pieces of equipment in instances where a gas filter-separator is required to protect a gas vertical coalescer from becoming plugged with solid contaminant.
The combination of two removal technologies - filter-separator and coalescer - alongside the high efficiency of PEACH media element technology drastically reduces the overall system footprint required.
Lower required capital cost by elminating the need to buy two pieces of equipment and reducing the overall vessel size required.
PEACH Gemini Purasep® provides liquid removal in the parts per billion (PPB) range for high-efficiency removal of solids and aerosolized liquid contaminants.
High efficiency removal of solids and aerosolized liquid contaminants 0.3 micron and larger
The Parker PEACH Genini Purasep® can lower capital investment spend by eliminating the need to buy two pieces of equipment in instances where a gas filter separator is required to protect a gas vertical coalescer from becoming plugged with solid contaminant.
The Parker PEACH Gemini Purasep® series of coalescing filters can offer significant improvements in the amount of liquid which is removed from the gas stream. Within a PEACH coalescing filter element, gas flows outside-to-inside through the first stage of the cartridge where liquids are pre-coalesced. Then, as gas travels through the inside diameter of the cartridge at the chevron seal, a smooth transition is made and the gas flows inside-to-outside through the second stage of the cartridge removing coalesced liquids down to 0.3 microns. Parker can customize the vessel to meet plant layout requirements.
Parker PEACH technology elements create a unique flow pattern creating a longer flow path through the cartridge which then increases the probability of contaminant removal:
When designed as a slug catching Gemini solution, the vessel can combine bulk and micro separation into a single vessel. The slug catching design can also incorporate features to maximize the separation of bubbles of gas from the bulk liquid, preventing gas bubbles transferring downstream, which can result in operational and safety issues.
New patented liquid impingement baffle (LIB) design increases gas flow rate capacity and improves liquid removal efficiency promoting smooth liquid drainage.
A patented Roll-Out-Seal System features an easy roll-out chevron gasket that helps to prevent a swollen seal from lodging or wedging the cartridge inside the riser pipe during extraction. The new seal system reduces the extraction force by 400% compared to previous seal designs. The chevron seal also provides complete sealing peace of mind compared to a standard o-ring seal.
