CNG Virtual Pipeline Finite Filters, Optimal Protection - Industrial Gas Filtration & Generation Division | Parker US
Rectification columns of the oil refinery. Equipment for primary oil refining. Refinery equipment. Oil refinery.

A virtual pipeline enables the the transportation of natural gas to locations with limited or no access to an actual gas pipeline and benefits a range of industries from agriculture to remote communities. Finite filters make it possible to improve process efficiency and provide optimal process protection.

Mother Station - Compression

Virtual pipeline trailer storage tanks are a big investment. Keeping the tanks dry and free from compressor oil carryover is a priority. Given the large volumes of the tanks, the resulting heat of compression can drive pressures and temperatures to extremes. Many of these applications require a 6,000 psig  and -40° F/C rating. Parker has the ZJ Series filter line for these applications. Our filters are designed to handle the high flows with low differential pressure, while providing reliable high efficiency particulate and oil aerosol removal to keep your tanks and systems oil free.

Parker Filters to Use

Our Finite J Series filters are good for U.S. Domestic applications up to 5,000 PSIG and down to -20° F. Parker ZJ Series filters are rated for 6,000 psig, -40° F and suitable for Canadian applications.

Daughter Station - Compression

Sizing filters for pressure reduction/decompression can be a challenge. The pressures and flows in ACFM vary drastically between a full and empty trailer. We offer a full range of filter sizes with a wide variety of element grades to handle the challenging dynamics of decompression while preventing any compressor oil carryover.

Parker Filters to Use

Several Finite product lines, depending on your system specifications: ZJ Series (6,000 psig), J Series (5,000 psig), M Series (800 psig), and H Series (500 psig).

Featured Filters

High pressure compressors are used in a variety of applications. Many owners, operators and designers of high pressure compressed air or gas systems rely on Finite for high-quality air treatment filters to remove contaminants and to keep their systems running smoothly.

Featured Filter Elements

We provides a wide selection of Finite filters, designed to accommodate any natural gas flow rate and equipped with various media options to suit the needs of natural gas applications. The ASME-compliant filter housings are made of carbon steel, and the available filter media range from glass fiber for liquid coalescence, cellulose for particulate filtration, to activated carbon for oil vapor and hydrocarbon elimination. Filter elements are offered with ratings from 100 microns to as fine as 0.01 micron.

Liquid Separator - Media Type 100 WS

This all stainless steel element is designed to remove aerosolized liquid droplets from the gas stream. It has two metal retainers with rolled mesh screen in between. This cleanable element combines liquid droplets and aerosols, separating the liquids from the gas stream in systems with high liquid loads.

Coalescing Filter Heavy Duty - Media Filter Type 7FVP

Coalescing element made of pleated glass media. Metal retained for added strength. Includes metal end caps and fluorocarbon gaskets for proper sealing. Only available in Grade 7.

Coalescing Filter Very High Efficiency - Media Type 4C, 6C, 10C

We manufacture Finite Uni-Cast coalescing elements using a proprietary Parker formation process for high efficiency, graduated density, depth filtration. These rugged elements composed of an epoxy saturated, borosilicate glass microfiber tube in intimate interlocking contact with a rigid retainer and surrounded by a coarse fiber drain layer. This element has a unique graduated density that makes it very effective from removing very fine aerosols and compressor oil carryover from natural gas streams.
