Simply select the GlobalCore hose based on the pressure required for your application, then identify the right hydraulic fitting series needed for your GlobalCore hose assembly.
Sizing Considerations
Keep in mind that ISO 18752 hose are specified by the performance definitions below. These ISO definitions identify the grade and type of hose required for different applications based on criteria such as temperature, impulse pressure, or cycle ratings. These performance definitions are included in the technical specifications for each GlobalCore hose.
Replacing SAE Specified Hoses
To replace existing SAE specified hoses, simply find your existing hose/spec in the SAE matrix using the Conversion Chart (download the full chart below). The equivalent GlobalCore hoses are listed on the right of each SAE specification in order of dash size.

GlobalCore Agency Approvals
GlobalCore will carry the most common international agency approvals as requested by our customers. ABS, DNV, Lloyd's, MSHA and USCG are comprehensive approvals, while other certifications are specific to designated hoses or sizes. You can view our certifications here.
The American Bureau of Shipping (ABS)
A ship classification society which establishes standards for the design, construction, and periodic survey of vessels. ABS classifies ships, which helps to ensure that they are fit for their intended service, and possess the structural and mechanical capability for safe performance.
Det Norske Veritas (DNV)
A Norwegian Ship classification society which establishes rules and guidelines for the classification of ships, mobile offshore platforms, and other floating marine structures. DNV also issues rules and standards for the classification, certification, and verification of fixed offshore structures.
Lloyd's Register (LR)
A global engineering technical and business services organization wholly owned by the Lloyd's Register Foundation, a UK charity dedicated to research and education in science and engineering. Founded in 1760 as a marine classification society, LR now operates across many industry sectors.
Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA)
MSHA carries out the mandates of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977 (Mine Act) at all mining and mineral processing operations in the United States, regardless of size, number of employees, commodity mined, or method of extraction.
U.S. Coast Guard (USCG)
Developed through the cooperative efforts of the USCG and SAE, the J1942 specification became the official document for nonmetallic flexible hose assemblies for commercial marine use.
