At the Fluid Systems Division, we combine our depth of design knowledge in aircraft fuel system equipment with advanced pump technology and fuel gauging capabilities to provide the time and money savings of total fuel system integration. With a single point of contact, our reliable and integrated  systems have been the solution of choice for military, commercial, and regional aircraft.

Systems integration that propels aircraft performance

Parker has worked hard to become an established aerospace fuel system supplier with the experience and ability to take on the responsibility for the design, integration, and certification of complete fuel systems including the fuel gauging, fuel management, fuel handling and tank venting subsystems.

With our team of seasoned engineers, we provide total aircraft fuel system integration backed by our comprehensive experience certifying components to Federal Aviation Regulation 25.981 requirements. The Fluid Systems Division offers an extensive catolog of compliant products and components.

Advancing the global aerospace fleet to fly higher, faster, longer, and more efficiently

For many companies, research and development is an avenue that leads to spending money; at the Fluid Systems Division of Parker Aerospace, it’s just the opposite. We take a much more positive approach. We look at R&D as a direct path to value, making new methods to lowering costs a top priority.

To achieve this end, we meet regularly with key customers to determine their value priorities. It’s an exercise that points us towards new technology development. By critically examining current materials and solutions, we are able to collaboratively create the needs list for the next generation of aircraft systems. These efforts result in focused deployment of our R&D efforts, providing leading-edge innovations at real-world costs.

Parker’s aerospace fuel systems and components are present on virtually all aircraft manufactured in the western world including the COMAC ARJ-21, C919, Boeing 787, Boeing 737, Airbus ACJTwoTwenty, A350XWB, A220, A400, Gulfstream G650, and Embraer 170/190, as well as military aircraft programs such as the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter and the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye WOWP.

Parker's credentials as an aircraft fuel system supplier are strengthened by the fact that all fuel system components utilize technologies available within the engineering departments of Parker’s own operating Divisions. In addition, Parker’s Central Engineering department, co-located in Irvine, California, participates continuously in R&D projects to optimize product performance, size and weight through the application of new technologies and new materials.

As the United States military embarked to build the second ever fifth-generation fighter aircraft, Parker Aerospace’s Fluid Systems Division (FSD) was selected in the mid-1990s to provide the fuel system and the onboard inert gas generating system (OBIGGS) for the F-35 Lightning II program. The scope and complexity of this program posed a significant challenge to the FSD engineering team, and required the breadth of knowledge and capabilities of the team to successfully deliver a qualified fuel
