An Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) is any motor vehicle specifically designed for use on steep or uneven ground. These types of vehicles are easily identified by their large tires, flexible suspensions, or caterpillar tracks. Off-Highway Vehicles fall under one of four categories: Recreational, Construction/Mining, Agriculture, and Industrial.

Reach Stacker
Reach Stackers are a heavy-duty type of forklift, most commonly found in freight terminals or cargo ports. This type of off-highway vehicle moves cargo containers around the terminal or port. Reach stackers are commonly powered by a diesel engine, but in recent years the popularity of alternative fuel / electrified reach stackers has grown in popularity. Mining Loader
Mining loaders are a specific type of loader deigned for underground mining. The main difference between a mining loader and a wheel loader is the height. Mineshafts are roughly 10 feet or less in height, and typical wheel loaders are over 11 feet tall. A mining loader is very compact and low to the ground, averaging only about 5 feet in height. These off-highway vehicles are designed to withstand harsh environments since they will spend their entire useful life underground. Combine Harvester
The combine harvester is a vital piece of equipment for any farmer. Traditionally, the four steps to a crops harvest (reaping, threshing, gathering, and winnowing) were done by different machines / processes. The combine harvester combined all 4 of these steps into a single process. Combines are available in different sizes and configurations to meet the needs of the farmer. One element all combine harvesters have in common is interchangeable heads. Each crop requires a different head to efficiently harvest the crop, but the downstream processes performed by the combine harvest stay the same.
