Adhesive solutions that effectively bond various plastics to substrates directly in an injection molding process. Achieve excellent bonding and sealing between dissimilar materials to protect against air, moisture and fluid.
Realize thinner, curved designs between new material combinations
Increase manufacturing efficiency and throughput
Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE)
Chemlok 487 A/B: Two-component adhesive used to bond thermoplastic elastomers to metals, glass, plastic (both thermoplastic and thermoset) and other elastomers during injection molding.
Chemlok 485 & Curative 44: Two-component adhesive system used for insert mold bonding of PVC and Alcryn to substrates such as metal, rubber and other thermoplastic elastomers.
Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU)
Chemlok 8600: One-coat aqueous adhesive used to bond injection-molded thermoplastic polyurethanes to metal. Chemlok 8600 also bonds a wide variety of urethanes of varying hardness to most metals.
Chemlok 213: Blue adhesive designed for bonding thermoplastic materials to metals and other rigid substrates during the injection molding process. It is composed of a mixture of polymers and curatives dissolved in an organic solution.
Polycarbonate (PC)
Chemok EP6897-61: Clear adhesive designed for bonding thermoplastic materials to metals and other rigid substrates during the injection molding process. It is composed of a mixture of polymers and curatives dissolved in an organic solution.
