Q: How do I find a CAD model for Cylinders and Helical Hydraulic Rotary Actuators?

A: For cylinder CAD drawings go to the CAD Configurator webpage. Then click on the appropriate cylinder series to get your CAD drawing. The helical hydraulic rotary actuator CAD models are located on the Helac L10 Series, L20 Series, L30 Series and T Series product pages under the parts section.

Q: What cylinder options are available on a HAS actuator?

A: HAS units do not have directional control valves, so speed and direction are controlled by the speed and direction of the electric motor. PMAC motors do require a controller. Q: What is the duty cycle of a HAS unit?

Q: What is the life expectancy of a HAS 500 unit?

A: Components utilized are suitable of millions of cycles. Testing has shown fluid life can exceed 8000 hours of operation. A fluid sample should be taken every 5 years to ensure the integrity of the fluid. HAS Sales Tools

Q: When should I use a PO check or counterbalance valve?
