Edge Bonded and Overmolded Gaskets

Advantages:

  • Bonded seals alleviate some of the most common issues encountered with strictly elastomer seals.
  • Eliminate complicated installations, handling damage, and twisting and pinching problems
  • Eliminate alternate leak paths
  • Reduce costs by eliminating the need for machined grooves in mating hardware
  • Thin, rigid metal retainer provides metal-to-metal contact which means the elastomer cannot be excessively stressed due to over-tightening

EOC/TOC

Engine Oil Cooler and Transmission Oil Cooler Gaskets

Benefits:

  • Easy assembly minimizes installation errors
  • Reliable sealing against broad range of media including oils, coolants, fuels, gases with performance that surpasses function of copper or other metal washers
  • Metal-to-metal contact produces ideal compression conditions between bolt and flange
  • Highly customizable; various elastomer/substrate material combinations possible

Bonded Slimline Washer Seals for Electric Vehicle Cooling

Bonded slimline seals combine the function of a rubber seal such as an O-ring with that of a metallic washer in one bonded washer component. Their use aids in removing operational inefficiencies associated with component assembly and installation, and lessening warranty and rework costs associated with quality mistakes where visual inspection cannot assure the seal has been installed.
