Industry Accreditation and Certification

Industry accreditation is critical for modern engineering companies, particularly companies that operate in sectors with high-performance requirements such as power generation and oil and gas processing. For Heatric, the accreditation that the company has demonstrates its commitment to quality, safety, and reliability.

The following are highlights of the accreditation and certification that Heatric has achieved:

Heatric’s quality systems and licences also include:
 

  • European Pressure Equipment Directive – Heatric’s equipment is (when applicable) certified  to the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU) regulations. The Pressure Equipment Directive applies to the design, manufacture and conformity assessment of stationary pressure equipment with a maximum allowable pressure greater than 0.5 bar. 

  • Achilles Joint Qualification System (JQS) – A supplier register and pre-qualification system to manage supplier information in the Norwegian and Danish oil & gas sector.

  • Korean Gas Safety Certificate – Certification that Heatric is registered in compliance with the Korean High-Pressure Gas Safety Control Act legislation.

  • Lloyd’s Register Ship Rules – Certification that Heatric is approved to manufacture Fusion Welded Pressure Vessels in compliance with the Lloyd’s Register Rules for the Classification of Ships.

  • Surface Engineering Association Membership – Trade association offering technical support to members from the surface engineering industry.

 

 

Integrated Management System

 

The Heatric Integrated Management System (IMS) was developed to ensure safe and effective operations,. The IMS outlines the requirements and responsibilities of Heatric’s functions, and the systems that are used to ensure Heatric delivers its projects on time and to the quality requirements that the clients expect.

 

The Heatric Integrated Management System Policy

  1. HEATRIC is committed to the design, development, manufacture and commissioning of heat exchangers and associated equipment to meet applicable specifications, codes, quality, health and safety, environmental, corporate, legal and regulatory requirements.
  2. HEATRIC aims to maintain and consolidate its position at the forefront of heat exchanger technology with enthusiasm, efficiency and professionalism in order to achieve customer satisfaction at all times.
  3. HEATRIC is committed to the prevention of injury and ill-health, and the continual improvement in Occupational Health and Safety management and Occupational Health and Safety performance.
  4. HEATRIC is committed to the prevention of pollution.
  5. This policy shall be communicated to all interested parties and reviewed regularly to ensure relevance.

HEATRIC will realise these aims by:

  • Implementing the Integrated Management System, which complies with the requirements of:-
    • BS EN ISO 9001:2015
    • BS EN ISO 14001:2015
    • BS EN ISO 45001:2018
  • Establishing and reviewing regularly objectives designed to achieve continuing improvements,
  • Auditing and reporting annually our progress against our objectives, the efficiency of the Integrated Management System and the relevance of this policy,
  • Providing equipment, facilities and people with necessary skills and competence to supply products to requirements first time and on time,
  • Procurement of products and services from approved sources,
  • Effective communication with customers internally and externally.
