One reason Parflex hose and tubing is used in so many different packaging applications is durability. Packaging applications require products that can withstand abrasion and repeated flexing without causing the hose or tube to fail prematurely. Another flexibility requirement is the ability to to be routed through tight areas. Did you know almost every Parflex hose has a smaller O.D. than a comparable rubber hose?

In tubing, Parflex offers extra flexible tubing as a standard product specifically designed to address the challenges of tight routing and extreme flexing. Parflex 95FR Microweld tubing even withstands sparks. And when the temperature heats up, like in hot melt systems, PTFE hose assemblies and fluoropolymer tubing are able to withstand temperatures well over 325°F/162°C. In addition, the anti-stick properties of these products facilitate flow where ink or glue are being transferred.
