Formed Hose and Tubing

Formed Hose and Tubing

The benefits of formed thermoplastic hose and tubing can be seen in every day routing of hose and tubing. Formed products allow for cleaner routings and the repeatability of the manufacturing assembly process by providing a consistently formed hose or tube to fit into a specific position every time.

• Diminishes the chance for misalignment
• Improved process and overall efficiency of installation
• Part numbers and thread joints reduced
• Component weight reduced due to component elimination
• Rigid but flexible

SCR Hose / DEF Transfer

SCR Heated Hose - DEF Transfer

Tackle condensation, coagulation and freezing liquids. Unlike the competition's electrically heated hose, Parflex SCR hoses lock-in the heating elements with an extruded sheath for added protection and long-lasting uniform heating. With Electrically Heated SCR Hose Assemblies from Parker's Parflex Division, a cleaner exhaust system means a cleaner environment. Designed for heating and conveying DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) throughout the SCR system on commercial vehicles, Parflex hoses are made to handle tight routings in on-road equipment and the performance demands of off-road equipment.

CNG Natural Gas Hose

CNG Natural Gas Hose

Serving as a primary conveyance of CNG in all areas of the vehicle system up to the firewall, 5CNG hose out-performs rigid tubing by reducing potential leak points, reducing installation time, inventory components and at 30% lighter than rigid tubing, contributing to weight reduction. The 5CNG hose has an electrically conductive nylon core designed to dissipate static build up. A twin-line hose assembly can reduce part number complexity and eliminate tangled hoses in a dispenser system.

• Conforms to:
  - ANSI/CSA NGV 4.2*CSA 12.52 (Class A, Class D)
  - ECE R110 CNG Class 6
  - ANSI NGV 3.1*CSA 12.3 (Class B - P36) 5CNG-8 only
  - NFPA 52
  - CSA Certified
• Dampens vibration and noise
• 5,000 constant psi
• Size Range: 1/4" or 1"

Stainless Braided Hose / Compressor Discharge

Stainless Braided Hose / Compressor Discharge

Parflex Metal Hose and High Pressure PTFE Hose assemblies are the most common Parflex hoses used in compressor discharge applications. These hoses offer excellent chemical resistance and metal hose maintains its shape under full vacuum. The low friction of PTFE hose minimizes pressure drops and deposits.

• Up to 5,500 psi
• Size Range:
  - Metal Hose: 1/4" to 12"
  - PTFE Hose: -4 to -16
• Temperature Range:
  - Metal Hose: -380°F/-228°C to +1200°F/648°C
  - PTFE Hose: -65°F/-54°C to +400°F/204°C

HLB Lubrication Hose

HLB Lubrication Hose

HLB flexible grease hose is a cost effective way to make sure your application is getting properly lubricated. Historical data has shown that using an HLB remote hose, versus a 1/4" rubber hose, can save $10 to $20 per line in reduced component and installation labor costs.

• HLB remote lubrication system versus 1/4" rubber hoses can save
money per line in reduced component and installation labor costs
• Unique GK bulkhead hose fittings with integrated nipple can
save money per zerk connection in unnecessary adapter costs
• Compact 1/8" hoses save hundreds of dollars of waste in your
operation by eliminating gallons of unnecessary "in-line" grease
  versus larger bore rubber hoses
• MSHA accepted
• 3,000 constant psi
• Size range: 1/8" and 3/16" (3 mm and 5 mm)

Harness and Bundled Tubing

Harness & Bundled Tubing

Time studies have shown that Parflex preformed harnesses and bundles for cab tilt lines, gear shifts, airbrake and diesel fuel applications can reduce installation times by more than 70%. Like formed products, harnesses allow for repeatability of the manufacturing assembly process. Preformed parts also allow customers to free up employees who were once cutting and installing to work in other bottleneck areas, thus increasing overall throughput.

• Individual tubes are pre-cut and assembled into a single unit
• JIT programs available
• Custom designed and engineered to meet the customers
  exact requirement
• Color coding available
