Engineering Graduate Programme

The Engineering Leadership Programme is a 30 month programme where graduates rotate through different areas of the business such as Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Lean and Marketing; this is in order to develop the graduate as a future leader. As a graduate on the programme, you could be working on the design of a fuel system for a new Airbus aircraft to working with sales managers to launch a new product range. These examples are all real projects which graduates have been working on. Parker pride themselves on their diversity of both employees and the work we do, therefore each placement a graduate undertakes will never be in the same location including the option to work at a Parker location somewhere in mainland Europe.
As an engineer, Parker is a market leader which will give all employees the ability to continue to develop themselves over several lifetimes. The only downside is that there isn’t enough time to achieve this, but we challenge you to do it! In return, we ask that graduates are flexible and work hard. The placements are challenging and Parker will provide the necessary support to help you through.
A great graduate programme which will equip you to become a leader of the future. We offer a competitive starting salary with generous reviews every 6 months. You will also receive a joining bonus to help with additional expenses. We offer a mentoring programme with a dedicated mentor to help you towards your IMechE qualification. You will be offered structured leadership and skills based development training and technical training.
You will need geographic flexibility to move to any UK Parker location both during and upon completion of the programme. You must be fluent in English and a second European language would be beneficial. You should be on target to achieve a 2:1 or above. Eligibility to work in the UK after university has finished is a must. We are looking for graduates with any pure or combined engineering degree. Finally you should be available to start in September.

Finance Graduate Programme

The Finance Graduate Programme is made up of three placements covering a total of 18 months. These will consist of placements across UK sites. There may be a possibility of visiting some of our European sites during your training. The work undertaken will be challenging and business critical, giving exposure to different areas of the finance function. You will be expected to gain your CIMA and full financial support and guidance will be given to achieving your qualification.
