Steam Filtration

Steam is principally used for system sterilizing duties.  Due to its aggressive nature, steam can contain a high degree of metal fines or physical particulate which if not removed, could contaminate product contact surfaces or damage valves.  Typically, culinary grade steam is a pre-requisite to reduce the risk of the physical hazards present within steam.  For steam filtration this requires 95% removal of particulate greater than 2µm in size.
