Parker’s products and systems underpin safety whilst optimising productivity and ensuring asset integrity to maximise profitability in oil and gas production

Post-show: ADIPEC, 12-15 November 2018, Abu Dhabi, Hall 4 – Stand 4410

Abu Dhabi, 22. November 2018 - Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, demonstrated its latest products and system solutions, that help levelling up safety and reliability resulting in increased productivity and profitability in the oil and gas industry, at this year’s ADIPEC. With many decades of experience and materials science expertise, Parker’s solutions are optimised for the corrosive environments and harsh conditions typical of applications within the Arabian Gulf region.

Parker’s close to one million innovative, safe, strong and lightweight products solve engineering challenges in key focus technologies such as instrumentation and filtration for upstream, midstream and downstream in the Petroleum industry. The company, and its unrivalled, certified distribution network, partners with key local and regional End-users, EPCs (Engineering Procurement & Construction) and OEMs. The technological knowhow transfer supports local in country manufacturer in their efforts to increase expected localization plans such as IKTVA (In Kingdome Total Value Added) and ICV (In Country Value). It ensures as well the optimisation of designs and product selection and supply for efficiency, reliability and asset integrity that helps maximise productivity and minimise costly, and sometimes safety compromising, downtime. Parker’s product experts were available at the show to discuss applications and real-world engineering challenges.

Amongst the many exhibits featured at ADIPEC were Parker’s close-coupled process to instrument solutions, including Parker’s Pro-Bloc® extended rage, Monoflanges, API approved DBBs, A-Lok® fittings range and Autoclave VFT products for low, medium and high pressures (up to 160,000 psi) that underlines the company’s expertise in anti-corrosion solutions. Cost reduction and low maintenance optimisation was displayed by filtration group products like the CDAS and OFAS units that provide clean, dry, and oil-free compressed air to the most stringent industry standards.

To commemorate the 100th birthday of the late founding father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE has marked the year 2018 as the 'Year of Zayed' - the 100th birth anniversary of Shaikh Zayed. Shaikh Zayed was the UAE President and founder of the federation in 1971. Parker welcomed Sheikh Faraj Ali Bin Hamoodah on the stand with a tour of the Parker range of products on display. “On behalf of Parker Hannifin, I also extend our appreciation for Sheikh Faraj Ali Bin Hamoodah’s interest in the Parker brand, stand space provided and visit to the stand at ADIPEC”, said Nael Sinni, Instrumentation Group Sales Leader – EMEA Southern Region, Parker Middle East FZE.

Following Parker’s acquisition of Clarcor and its subsidiary PecoFacet in 2017, the company’s range of oil and gas filtration and separation solutions and knowhow has been significantly extended. Many of these were also on display at ADIPEC underlining Parker’s breadth of capabilities to support efficient oil and gas production. Regional specialist distribution partner GASOS was also present with Parker at the show demonstrating the local support and customer service available.
