Parker Releases New Series MX 30 PSI Version, a High Pressure High Flow 2 and 3 way 10 mm Solenoid Valve Aimed at Maximizing Performance in Medical Devices without compromising on size and power.

Hollis, NH November 15, 2017 The Precision Fluidics Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, announces the launch of its newest model in the Miniature Solenoid Actuated Poppet Valve for innovation in controlling the flow of inert gasses.

Designed especially for respiratory medical device applications, the new model utilizes extended pressure range up to 30 PSI (2 Bar) and Flow at maximum pressure up to 48 SLPM within the same small MX footprint (1.5 in / 38 mm tall by 0.4 in / 10 mm Wide by 0.62 in / 16 mm wide). The light weight (0.3 oz / 9 g) series MX valves are designed for easy integration with two pneumatic connection options – barbs and manifold mount. Additionally, the new 30 PSI (2 bar) MX valves series offers an efficient power profile of 0.75 Watts in the hold position and a fast response time of < 20 ms.

“The Medical Device industry expressed the need for a high flow 2 and 3-way valve that can accommodate systems with efficient power profiles, versatile for use in multiple system positions, and backed by the quality and world class reliability of a Parker Precision Fluidics Valve.” said Sam Ruback, division marketing development manager, Precision Fluidics Division. “By developing this configuration, we are raising the bar in small, power efficient high-flow solenoid valves. Thisenables our Partners to develop high performance medical devices that serve the needs in Life Science’s.”

The Series MX product family will be manufactured at Parker’s Precision Fluidics facility in Hollis, New Hampshire. More information is available at
