Parker launches new Transair catalogue containing over 750 part numbers from the fast, flexible aluminium and stainless steel piping system for industrial applications

Rennes, France, 28. November 2017 - Transair®, a business unit of The Fluid System Connectors Division Europe (formerly Legris) of Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, has launched its new Transair Advanced Pipe Systems for Industrial Fluids Catalogue. The catalogue includes detailed information on both the aluminium – used mainly for compressed air, and stainless steel – primarily for industrial water and oil, ranges. Transair is lightweight, flexible, and easily modified, it uses a quick-connect interlocking system to eliminate the need to thread or solder pipe interconnections.

The new 160-page catalogue is available in nine different languages and contains comprehensive data relating to over 750 part numbers from the Transair aluminium and stainless steel product ranges. The detailed information has been carefully laid out to help customers quickly and easily select appropriate parts and design their networks. Over 100 new part numbers are featured for the first time in the catalogue.

Transair aluminium products have been specially designed to reduce the space and number of fittings needed, and minimise installation time. They also reduce overall installation weight whilst increasing system efficiency, reducing pressure drops and eliminating leaks. Stainless steel versions of Transair provide the same benefits and address the specific needs associated with conveying water and oil.

Regarding the aluminium range, a large range of piping diameters are available as well as new components such as end caps with outlets, flanges from DN65 to DN200, equal and reducer Ys, increaser tees, equal and unequal crosses, flanged crosses and flanged tees. The Transair ball valve range, included in the catalogue, has been optimised with all products now both lockable and silicone-free.

To meet the stringent requirements of compressed air and vacuum applications in harsh environments such as food and beverage, pharmaceutical or laboratories, Transair now includes a complete range of 22 mm diameter, 316L stainless steel drops. These modular drops are fast to install due to their instant connection technology, as well as being easy to clean and highly resistant to aggressive chemical agents.

Also detailed in the comprehensive new brochure for engineers, are a wide range of tools and services offered by Parker to provide support at every stage of projects, from design and costing, through to delivery and installation.

Five pages within the new catalogue are dedicated to detailing the Transair quality benchmark as well as listing the main certificates associated with the technology. The catalogue (part number: CAT/T0061) is available in: English, Czech, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish. Polish, Swedish and Turkish versions are planned in the near future.
