Parker to Feature C Series Variable Displacement Piston Pumps at OTC 2018

C055 Hydrostatic pump, the series’ newest release, will be on display

Marysville, Ohio, April 12, 2018 – The Hydraulic Pump and Power Systems Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, has announced it will feature its C Series Variable Displacement Piston Pumps during The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) at NRG Park in Houston, Texas, from April 30 to May 3.

The Parker C Series has been designed for use in closed-circuit hydrostatic applications. Pumps feature a rugged swash plate and bearing design to extend equipment life, as well as a modular design for improved flexibility and easier serviceability. The C Series offers a full range of controls, such as a manual lever with feedback, hydraulic proportional and electric proportional valves. The pumps are available with a variety of accessories, including hydraulic pressure override, electric cut-off valve and cross-port relief valves to protect from pressure overloads. Engineered for a variety of applications, the C Series hydrostatic pump is rated to 420 bar (6,090 psi) continuous pressure and 3,800 input rpm.

“The Parker C Series is a compact, robust and efficient pump that will allow our offshore and marine customers to maximize their system efficiency, power density and space utilization,” said C Series Product Manager Justin Wheeler.

Planned as the showcase at OTC, the C055 is the latest unit to be released in the C Series product line. The C055 is a 55cc/rev (3.35 CIR) unit that features a compact and robust design to maximize space utilization and machine performance. Engineered specifically for the mobile market, the CO55 will appeal to OTC attendees interested in offshore equipment, such as stabilizers, dredges, mobile boat hoists, marine winches, deck cranes and ship steering gear.

This year OTC celebrates 50 years of advancing scientific and technical knowledge for offshore resources and related environmental concerns. The largest event for the oil and gas market, the conference brings together 70,000+ industry professionals and 2,000+ leading exhibitors from all around the globe. About Parker Hannifin's Hydraulic Pump and Power Systems Division

A global technology leader, the Parker Hydraulic Pump and Power Systems Division brings nearly a century of combined experience. Our division is the result of the Parker piston pump business’s acquisition of Denison Hydraulics in 2004 and now our merger with the Parker Oildyne Division. Since before WWII, Denison products have been excelling in military test stand and shipboard hydraulic applications. This acquisition allowed us to enhance the design, manufacturing and application of piston products in both open- and closed-circuit applications. With the addition of Oildyne, we have extended our offering to include the quality compact hydraulic products and systems the division has been pioneering since 1955. Like the miniature piston pumps Oildyne manufactures, it’s been a smart fit.
