Hannover Fair - Product Launches by Parker Hannifin’s Accumulator and Cooler Division Europe

Paris, France, 15. March 2017- Following a program of continuous investment and development, the Accumulator and Cooler Division Europe of Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies will be presenting a range of new products and services at the Hannover Fair that offer stress-free solutions.

Xtra-life Bladder MIX
The new xtra-life bladder mix (mix XL) offers significantly improved technology in comparison to the current market proposition (bladder mix 25) offering the lowest permeation rate available. This new product also offers a lifetime twice as long as any product available on the market for the same application. Other benefits include a reduction in service and inspection time and a reduction in the costs associated with breakdown and maintenance.

Global Bladder Accumulator with PTS
In April this year Parker will launch the first global accumulator offering multi-international certification (SELO, ASME & CE) as well as improved technology and design. This new product features a new gas valve designed to be suitable for standard adapters available on the market today. It incorporates the new xtra-life bladder mix technology and an optimised fluid port which reduces noise level and increases flow rate. All regulations have been included which has significantly reduced the amount of part numbers and complexity of documentation therefore providing a significant reduction of cost and resources for design and logistic departments. All of the global accumulators will have a unique code so that customers can benefit from the Parker Tracking System (PTS).

Fast Track Bladder Accumulators
Standard bladder accumulator part numbers will be made available for 48 hours dispatch.  This service will be suitable for small order quantities which require a fast response time. A nitrogen pre-charge service will also be included in the fast-track product offering.

ACP Piston Accumulator – 150 bore
The new 150 bore piston accumulator from Parker can handle volumes up to 40 litres and pressures up to 275 bar. The ACP piston accumulator offers long, reliable service life and due to its compact, lightweight and cost effective crimped design, it is ideally suited for the industrial markets. With proven performance within the mobile market this technology has been developed to offer larger capacities.

Diaphragm Eeconfigurator
The Diaphragm e-configurator is dedicated for orders up to 20 pieces and is quick-and-easy to use. Users can select from a range of options including pressure, volume and approval, and to prevent mistakes caused by manual input, a pre-charge option has also been included. Once all options have been selected the user will receive all relevant part number information including price, leadtime and accessories. The launch of this tool coincides with that of the new part number and series name. The new part number follows a more logical format and the Diaphragm Series will be known as the DA Series. The e-configurator will be launched on www.parker.com/acde in April 2017.

BAWN Gas Bottles
The new BAWN Gas Bottle without neck is interchangeable and can easily replace an existing unit whilst also offering a cost effective solution for hydraulic systems. Available in 50 and 75 litre versions, up to 360 bar PED, 3000 PSI ASME.

Air Oil Cooler for Marine/ Industrial Applications (MAC Series)
The new MAC Series combines high-performance, efficient fluid cooling with unrivalled corrosion resistance to offer a dependable solution for challenging industrial and marine applications. It provides a cooling capacity up to 300kW and maximum operating pressure 21 bar. The design features help to minimise maintenance and extend product lifetime especially for installation in harsh conditions. Parts are painted prior to manufacture and assembled with A4 stainless steel fasteners to allow disassembly and reassembly without compromising corrosion protection. A reduced number of components help to minimise mechanical interferences and give simplified spare parts list for maintenance teams. Tropicalized paint protection inside the cooler housing and connection box also help to maintain operational excellence in harsh environments.

Fast Track Air Oil Coolers
Fast track program for coolers is now extended to more than 60 part numbers. This offers product dispatch within 48 hours from Parker’s manufacturing plant in Wroclaw. This service saves valuable time and is ideal for distributors, system integrators and small OEMs that require small batches (up to five pieces per order) rapidly. The offering of standard L-series was extended to larger and smaller sizes and LOC range products. It also includes the possibility to get a bypass and/or a thermos switch directly mounted on the cooler.

Accumulator Service Centre Network
Parker has established a fully trained and certified accumulator service network in most European countries to help customers reduce system down-time, increase efficiency and reduce the complexity of documentation. Services available include complete recertification, pre-charging, maintenance, inspection and assessment management for documentation and regulation. The service centres stock spare parts and have specialised equipment ready for work which can be provided in-house, on-site or in the field.
