High-efficiency MERV ratings lower energy costs while meeting sustainability goals
Jefferson, Indiana, January 16, 2019 – Parker HVAC Filtration, a division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, announces its new Advantage™ line of 2" High-Efficiency Mini-Pleat Filters designed specifically for HVAC applications. The filters feature a mini-pleat design that provides outstanding particulate removal, dust-holding capacity, and efficiency making them an excellent choice as a primary or pre-filter.
A simple and effective upgrade, Parker Advantage 2" Mini-Pleat Filters feature a standard factory-installed downstream and side gasket, which provide sealing to minimize air bypass and improve efficiency. The high surface area and 2" depth make them the ideal replacement for traditional, bag and heavy box-style filters. Significant energy savings are made possible with a lower pressure drop than similar 2" filters due to their pleated design. The pleated design also contributes to a more compact footprint, requiring less storage space.
Parker’s newest HVAC filters feature 100% synthetic, gradient density, microfiber media that resists moisture and damage and will not support microbial growth. A lightweight, high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) frame ensures durability by completely sealing the filter. Spacing integrity is maintained with strong glue bead separators, which results in better airflow resistance and particulate filtering.
