Program overview

A program to identify, hire, and develop talented, newly graduated information technology professionals, providing an opportunity to start their career in a diverse, global, Fortune 250 company.

Who should apply?

The Parker information technology team is looking for development program candidates who meet or exceed the following criteria:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related area
  • Superior students with a grade point average of 3.0 or better
  • Flexibility, energy, creativity, personal drive, and ability to learn quickly
  • Strong teaming and collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of contributing within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Previous Parker interns or co-op students are typically preferred

How long is the program?

The Parker Information Technology Leadership Development Program lasts from six to nine months.

Are participants required to travel?

Participants in the IT Leadership Development Program may visit other Parker Hannifin facilities as part of their work experience, as required by business needs. This company-paid travel provides insight into actual IT challenges and allows associates to apply their skills to provide solutions.

What kind of compensation is offered?

Each participant is offered:

What opportunities are available at Parker after the development program ends?

Parker recognizes the value of the experience and knowledge gained by program participants, and so typically offers participants an IT Technical Associate position after successful completion of the program.

 Preference is given to those with geographic flexibility and willingness to relocate.
