In case of a sudden and rapid pressure increase, like during a thermal runaway, CliPHvent enables fast venting via the integrated seal, thus protecting the battery housing and consequently the traction battery and the entire vehicle.
Minor pressure differences between the interior of the housing and the environment due to air pressure or temperature changes are compensated via the Parker aspire® membrane.
CliPHvent vent valves provide reliable protection against ingress of external liquids and dirt. They meet IP6XK, IPX6K, IPX9K, IPX7, IPXXB requirements.
Easy snap assembly on the housing surface. No complex geometry required.
In case of installation inside a bore, the protection cap is not required.
CliPHvent is simply snapped into the groove. No tools required.
