Clutch System
In the automotive sector, the so-called releasable clutch is the most commonly used clutch system. Depressing the clutch pedal releases the connection between the engine and the manual transmission. Gears can be changed because the gear wheels in the transmission are now freely movable.
Clutch actuation can be mechanical or hydraulic. In the case of a hydraulic system, the clutch master cylinder and the lines require respective sealing. For the tight design spaces, Parker Prädifa offers seals in smallest dimensions and respective tolerances. Another key aspect in this context is the geometry for ease of assembly.
