Hydraulic Pump/Motor Division is a world leader in the manufacture of orbit-type Low Speed, High Torque hydraulic motors. The legendary Torqmotor has been delivering on its promise of smooth low speed operation and rugged dependability since 1964. Our LSHT motor offering is rounded out by the unique Nichols line of compact, straight shaft motors. Features include stainless steel shafts and thru-shafts for brake or encoder mounting.

When used in concert with our hydraulic motors, our axial piston, closed center transmission pumps form highly efficient, cost- effective propulsion systems for vehicles up to 2000 pounds or more. Off-highway steering systems and high-speed gerotor motors are offered as well.

Administration, engineering, marketing and manufacturing are in our 250,000 sq ft facility in Greeneville TN. Our vertically integrated plant contains its own heat treat furnaces and a fully equipped metallurgical to ensure the highest quality.

We recently added 7000 sq ft to our existing engineering laboratory to expand our ability to instrument our customer’s machines. The laboratory contains state of the art dynamometers with capabilities to 700 horsepower to allow us to closely simulate actual vehicle operating conditions. The latest in data acquisition technology allows us to analyze the results to optimize vehicle performance.

Parker Service Centers have been established in strategic locations throughout the United States to bring premier service to our large OEM customers. These Centers will warehouse all Parker products required for a customer’s machine, physically check the customer’s requirement on the production line, and deliver the product right to the line. Savings to the customer include warehousing space, inventory control, incoming inspection and purchasing transaction costs.
