For every entry ticket that is received from a participating store, Parker will donate funds toward that ParkerStore's selected charity. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN A PRIZE IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES, NOR WILL MAKING A PURCHASE INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
How to Play: The ParkerStore™ “Champions for Children” Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”, or the “Sweepstakes”) sponsored by Parker-Hannifin Corporation (the “Sponsor”), in cooperation with Sponsor’s local participating independent ParkerStore™ Distributors, begins at 12:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on Saturday, August 1, 2009 and ends at 11:59 PM (“ET”) on Saturday, October 17, 2009 (the “Promotion Period”).
There are 2 ways to enter: Method #1: Customers of participating ParkerStore ™ Distributors will be able to complete and submit a sweepstakes entry at the Distributors’ ParkerStore™ location, and have an opportunity to win prizes. Method #2: Mail a postcard, including your name, phone number and complete address, to: The ParkerStore™ “Champions for Children” Sweepstakes, c/o The US Sweepstakes & Fulfillment Co., 625 Panorama Trail, Bldg. 2, Suite 100, Rochester, NY 14625. Each postcard must be mailed separately and must be postmarked between Saturday, August 1, 2009 and Saturday, October 17, 2009, and received by Friday, October 23, 2009. Photocopied, illegible or mechanically reproduced entries are not eligible. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected or postage-due mailed entries.
There is no limit to the number of entries that may be submitted by any person during the Promotion Period. Odds of winning are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received.
Eligibility: The Promotion is open only to those individuals, age 16 or older, who are legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. Officers and directors (including immediate family members and members of the same household) of the Sponsor, its advertising and promotion agencies, the participating ParkerStore™ Distributors, and any other individual or organization directly involved with this Sweepstakes (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities”) are not eligible to participate.
Prizes: Grand Prize. One (1) Grand Prize of a Mitsubishi 52” Flat Panel LCD HDTV (ARV: $3,000) or gift card equivalent. Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $3,000. First Prize. One (1) First Prize of a Mitsubishi 46” LCD HDTV (ARV: $1,600) or gift card equivalent. Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $1,600. Second Prize. Two (2) Second Prizes of Samsung Blu-ray Disc Players (ARV: $340 each) or gift card equivalent. Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $680 Third Prize. Five (5) Third Prizes of Apple iPod Classics (ARV: $225 each) or gift card equivalent. Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $1,125. Total ARV of All Prizes: $6,405.00
Prize Drawing and Notification: The prizewinners will be selected in a random drawing, under the supervision of an Independent Sweepstakes Administrator (the “ISA”), by March 31, 2010 from all eligible entries received. Each Grand, First, Second and Third Prize winner will be notified via telephone, and confirmed in writing that they are a potential prizewinner, within one week of the drawing date. In the notice, the ISA will provide all necessary documentation that the winner must execute before being entitled to be the confirmed winner, and redeem their prize.
Major prize winners (defined as a winner of a prize of $600 and over in value) will each be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and, where legal, a Publicity Release (collectively, the “Release Documents”) within seven (7) days of written notification. Failure to provide these documents within the stated time period may result in disqualification and an alternate winner being selected. The prize package will be awarded within approximately 30-45 days after winner is verified.
Prize Conditions and Limitations: All entries become the property of the Sponsor. Only one (1) prize per person. No substitution or transfer of prize is permitted, and no cash equivalent for any prize is offered, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. All prizes will be shipped to the address provided on the sweepstakes entry within four (4) – six (6) weeks of winner verification. In no event shall more prizes be awarded than the number stated in the “Prizes” section above. All federal, states, and local taxes on prizes offered, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission from the winner to the Sponsor and its agencies to use such winner’s name and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes, without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. All merchandise prizes are awarded “as is” with no at-law or implied warranties whatsoever, and sponsor reserves the right to substitute a merchandise prize with one of equal or greater value, should any prize become unavailable for any reason beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control.
Note: If an individual is not able to accept a prize due to their employer’s policy against the acceptance of sweepstakes/incentive prizes, the prize will be awarded per the terms of such employment contract or awarded to an alternate randomly-selected prizewinner.
Sweepstakes Conditions: Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the ISA and Sponsor and waive any right to claim ambiguity in regard to the mechanics of the sweepstakes or the interpretation of these Official Rules. Entrants and Winners also agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities from and against any claims, damages or liability due to any injuries or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind, or any injury to reputation or privacy, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize offered or participation in this Sweepstakes.
Sponsor is not responsible for any lost, late, misdirected, illegible or incomplete entries, or for any printing or human errors beyond their reasonable control. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the mechanics or logistics of this Sweepstakes will be declared ineligible and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Disputes: Except where prohibited by law, all disputes concerning this promotion will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws, rule and regulations of the State of Ohio without regard to its choice of laws or conflict of laws provisions.

Independent Sweepstakes Administrator: This sweepstakes is being administered by the US Sweepstakes & Fulfillment Co, 625 Panorama Trail (Bldg. 2, Suite 100), Rochester, NY 14625, who is responsible for overseeing the awarding of all prizes, and whose decisions will be considered final in all matters related to the Promotion.
