Electrical Characteristics

Power and Voltage:

All coils used in Parker Jackes-Evans solenoid valves are designed for continuous duty.  They can remain energized continuously without damage from overheating or mechanical failure.  On AC, inrush current occurs at the moment the solenoid is energized.  The continuous current after inrush is holding current.

Construction:

All solenoid coils are supplied with junction box housings as standard.  Also available from the factory are conduit boss housin.

All coils used in Parker Jackes-Evans solenoid valves are Class "F" molded and are constructed in accordance with UL, IEEE, NEMA and other accepted standards.
