The entire line of Logic Elements is new to the Parker Catalog. Parker Logic Valves are offered in two basic categories: Poppet and Spool.
Parker’s logic valves offer system designers a versatile range of screw-in elements that, when used in the proper combinations, can provide flexible design solutions for many common cartridge valve applications. They offer system designers the advantage of applying cartridge valve technology in applications where the flow and pressure conditions may exceed the limits of typical cartridge valves. Logic valves are essentially high flow poppet or spool elements that are controlled by small pilot devices. They can be used to control flow, pressure, or direction, and when applied in the proper arrangements, can perform multi-task control functions. Parker’s logic valves offer system designers alternative products that can help reduce the size, cost, and complexity of integrated manifold systems.

The basic bite type fitting was first developed in Europe in the early 1930s.
The Ferulok fitting was later developed by Parker-Hannifin and introduced to the U.S. market in the mid-1940s. The Ferulok fitting design utilizes a combination of proven European features, coupled with many innovative product improvements instituted by Parker Hannifin.
Today, the Ferulok fitting design and performance capabilities far exceed the strict requirements of SAE and military standards. The Ferulok fitting is a flareless fitting that consists of a body, a one-piece precision machined ferrule, and a nut. On assembly, the ferrule "bites" into the outer surface of the tube with sufficient strength to hold the tube against pressure, without significant distortion of the inside tube diameter. The ferrule also forms a pressure seal against the fitting body. Ferulok fittings allow the fitting assembler to visually inspect the bite quality, thus significantly minimizing the risk of improper assembly and related service problems. Ferulok fittings are especially suitable for use with tube wall thicknesses ranging from medium to extra heavy.
Ferulok’s robust construction and proven sealing characteristics have gained it worldwide popularity in diverse markets and applications. Ferulok fittings are routinely used in markets, such as: Machine tools, chemical, military, oil refineries, paper making, thermoplastics processing, etc.

MASTER HYDRUALIC FITTINGS CATALOG
The four-bolt flange is a proven leak-free connection, especially suited for larger sizes. As a result, it has achieved worldwide acceptance. The connection's success is in its simplicity. It is a static face seal using a high durometer O-ring for the seal and clamps and bolts for the holding power.
This simple design provides several advantages over threaded port connections, such as NPT, SAE, BSPP, ISO 6149, etc., in larger sizes:
The connection has one disadvantage - it requires a larger area (footprint) on the component than an equivalent threaded port.
Parker offers over 30 different 4-bolt flange series and over 20 different flange head series. This represents over 1200 standard part numbers available to provide the best possible plumbing solution. The vast majority of our flanges are manufactured from forged steel with a limited amount machined from bar stock. The forged construction provides higher strength and durability to provide long lasting performance in the application.
Contaminated oil is drawn into the Parker Portable Purification System (PVS) by a vacuum of 25 In/Hg. The oil passes through the in-line low watt density heater where the oil is heated to an optimum temperature of 150° F (66°C).
The oil then enters the distillation column where it is exposed to the vacuum through the use of special dispersal elements. This increases the exposed surface area of the oil and converts the water to vapor form, which is then drawn through the condenser by the vacuum pump.
The water-free oil falls to the bottom of the column and is removed by a heavy duty lube oil pump. This pump forces the dry oil through a final particulate removal filter. Clean oil passes out of the unit, back to the reservoir — and into the system.

The need for an economical, medium pressure range filter with excellent fatigue pressure ratings has been met. Parker's CN Series filters are the common factor for a long list of applications requiring economical filtration. Prior to the availability of the CN Series filter, many applications were restricted by limitations of a spin-on can, or forced into the higher cost range of high pressure filters.
The CN Series fills this gap, and now with the newly increased fatigue rating from 550 to 800 psi, the applications are expanded. The CN Series has recently been improved to accept Ecoglass III coreless elements.
Ecoglass III represents the merging of high performance filtration technology with environmentally conscious engineering. The Ecoglass III line of replacement elements feature 100% non-metallic construction. The design reduces solid waste and minimizes disposal costs for industry. The non-metallic construction means lightweight elements (60% less weight) for easier servicing.
The Ecoglass III elements utilize the same proprietary media design as our Microglass III line of replacement elements. With Ecoglass III, a reusable core is installed into the filter housing and remains in service throughout the life of the assembly.
Noise pollution is the hottest topic in the hydraulic industry today. Lab tests show that pump noise levels are increased by 2-3 dB(A) just by adding 12 feet of outlet and return lines. The lines do not generate noise. They radiate noise when they respond to pulsations or vibrations. The pulsations are usually generated by the pump, and the vibrations are radiated by large flat machine surfaces.
The Inline Pulse-Tone Hydraulic Shock Suppressor reduces pump pulsations and shock. When you stop pulsation and vibration, you stop the cause of component wear and leakage. A power unit with an Inline Pulse-Tone installed can operate at higher RPM with smaller, less expensive components...and less noise.
IL8 series filters are excellent choices for your demanding applications whether you require simplex, duplex or quadplex assemblies.
Wherever high flow or high capacity filters are required, the IL8 series can be applied with confidence. Filter housings have a simple yet critical job... securely contain the filter element with positive internal sealing.
The IL8 series filter housings are the result of careful engineering. High grade materials are used to provide strength at critical stress points.
The cover and base are annodized aluminum, the handle is nickel plated ductile iron and the bowl is rugged carbon steel. The result is a reliable high performance filter for an array of applications.

Fluid contamination can lead to high maintenance costs and downtime in hydraulic systems. KleenVent reservoir isolators provide protection against the ingestion of airborne contaminants – dust, chemicals, and water vapor – into your hydraulic system though the reservoirs breather-vent. By using an elastomer bladder as a lung, the changes in gas volume in a hydraulic system’s reservoir can be trapped and prevented from mixing with the outside atmosphere. And unlike conventional breathervent filters, KleenVent reservoir isolators provide a positive separation without the possibility of clogging or need for maintenance.

The S Series Swivel product line complements the Quick Coupling Division's PS Series swivel line by offering a pressure balanced, compact forged body design. As a result of the pressure balanced design, the S Series Swivel does not experience a significant increase in torque as pressure rises. The housing body is forged and case hardened to provide superior performance and durability in tough applications. This product is great for eliminating hose twist, torque and stress caused by the movement of the hydraulic components where side load to the swivel can be minimized.
The Seal-Lok fitting is the Tube Fittings Division’s most recently developed fitting. It was introduced in an effort to eliminate leakage in hydraulic systems and allow higher operating pressures.
The Seal-Lok fitting is an O-ring face seal type fitting that consists of a nut, a fitting body, an O-ring and a sleeve.
A flat face sleeve is flanged or brazed to the tube and when the fitting is assembled, it compresses an O-ring in a precision machined groove in the fitting body to form a leak tight seal. Seal-Lok fittings are suitable for any range of tube wall thick-ness and are also readily adaptable to pipe, metric tubing and hose. The Seal-Lok connection can be made with either metric or inch tubing by choosing the appropriate sleeve.
There are over thirty different body shapes and straights to choose from for specific applications. The body face has a groove which contains a high durometer O-ring that is held captive during installation. In addition, the Seal-Lok fitting body shapes are forged for added strength and longer service life. Straight products are made from cold drawn barstock. The cold drawing process ensures consistent dimensional tolerances, improved strength and better surface finish. Seal-Lok fittings are manufactured with a captive O-ring groove (CORG) design for prevention of O-ring fall-out prior to final assembly.
Seal-Lok fittings meet or exceed all requirements of SAE J1453 and are approved by DET Norske Veritas for use in hydraulic systems up to size 38mm O.D. (1 1/2") as shown on certificate P-9538.<

Parker’s Triple-Lok 37° flare tube fittings have been used in industry since Mr. Parker pioneered the product in the 1930s. The 37° flare fitting is the most popular industrial tube/hose fitting connection in the world.
Today, Parker offers a broad range of Triple-Lok fittings meeting SAE J514, ISO 8434-2 and military standards and specifications.
The Triple-Lok design is quite simple. The tube fitting consists of three pieces: the body, the nut and the sleeve. The tube end is flared at a mating 37° angle and sandwiched between the fitting nose (seat) and the sleeve creating an effective seal between the fitting nose and tube flare or hose.
Parker’s Triple-Lok fittings are manufactured in steel, 316 stainless steel and brass for optimum fluid compatibility and corrosion resistance. Furthermore, available sizes range from 1/8" tube O.D. to 2" tube O.D. in several configurations. Adaptability to global ports is another key benefit of Triple-Lok. (Standard ports include: SAE, straight thread ISO-6149, NPT, BSPT, BSPP and DIN.)
The Triple-Lok tube fitting is also readily available for metric tubing and hose adapter applications. Simply by changing the industry standard sleeve, the same Triple-Lok body can be adapted to metric tubing in sizes ranging from 6 mm tube O.D. to 38 mm tube O.D. Likewise, by using only the body without the nut and sleeve, the Triple-Lok fitting is used as an industry standard hose adapter.
