Quality System Requirements

 

SAE AS 9100 and related standards are recognized and accepted as the new world aerospace quality system standards and are being implemented throughout the aerospace supply chain in Asia, the Americas, and Europe. These global standards will be the same for aerospace suppliers throughout the world, regardless of their individual locations or customers.

 

By creating one standardized set of requirements, eliminating those that are unique to particular companies, industry costs can be dramatically reduced. Everyone benefits, from customers to suppliers at every level of the chain.

 

Parker Aerospace and its divisions have adopted the AS 9100 standard, both internally and as a requirement for Parker suppliers. We also recognize that AS 9100 at its highest level is not necessary for some suppliers. For these companies, Parker has developed lesser requirements based on AS 9100 and appropriate to the product or service being furnished.

 

Suppliers should review their respective purchase orders to determine which document applies to them.
