This new innovation from Parker Instrumentation has been developed to provide large bore capability in a far more compact, safer and higher performing format, overcoming many existing problems which face engineers who currently use either small bore needle valves or full bore piping valves.
Issues with traditional solution
The traditional solution to this type of problem has been to use full size piping class ball, gate or globe isolation valves, which in many cases have poor repeatability to achieve bubble tight isolation and limited temperature capability (in the case of soft seated ball valves).
Additionally, full size piping valves do not provide compact installations when the requirements are to install the valves in a manifold or double block and bleed arrangement, as such installations give weight, space and (more importantly) potential leakage points, along with causing stress points where they are welded or flanged to main process pipe work.
A Safer solution
Our new large 1/2" valves provide a much more reliable method of repeatable bubble tight shut off. This is achieved over a very wide temperature range of -54°C to +538°C (for 316L stainless steel), eliminating the issues with the traditional solution.
A Smarter and Cleaner solution
All of this is achieved in a far more compact size, providing the advantages of large bore capability, whilst reducing space, weight and potential stress/leakage points.
A Faster solution
The valves are configurable into a range of manifold solutions, including double block and bleed monoflanges, which solve several long standing installation and operator performance problems.
