Isys Micro 'plug-in' Valves

The new Isys Micro Valve is a compact valve manifold offering high flow; Industrial communication with Fieldbus DeviceNet and Profibus DP protocoles & Industrial Ethernet IP compatibility including Preferred Connectivity to Rockwell Logix™ Architecture. Parker designed the Isys Micro using an innovative back-to-back valve mounting style with a 42mm wide manifold that holds 4 valves (up to 8 pneumatic functions) and offers a 0.35 Cv flow. For easy installation, Parker sells the Isys Micro complete with all valves, fittings and mufflers.

This Isys Micro valve design offers functionality for a range of machine configurations:

• 25 Pin D-sub Connections for wiring on smaller machines with discrete outputs on the PLC.
• Moduflex Fieldbus provides simple node connections for larger machines with no additional inputs and outputs at the valve manifold.
• Isysnet Fieldbus offers full functionality for large, complex machines using many valves, inputs, and outputs. Isys Micro can have up to 4 Valve Driver Modules, controlling 32 valves each, coupled to a single fieldbus node. With bus extension capability using additional input and output modules at each expansion point, a full 256 inputs and 256 outputs can be connected, offering a simple wiring solution for the machine.

Partnership with Rockwell Automation

By partnering with Rockwell Automation, Parker is able to provide a fieldbus solution with Preferred Connectivity to the Rockwell Automation Logix™ Architecture. The information needed for the device profile is pre-loaded into the Allen Bradley RSLogix5000™ software, which reduces configuration time by up to 70%.

The installation process, when using Rockwell products, is reduced from 4 clicks and 7 data fields to merely 3 clicks, with no additional values for the user to find and enter. This means there are no installation manuals to search through, no chance of entering incorrect information, and you can work with confidence knowing the device is configured properly.
