Compax3 Family:

Recently Parker Hannifin presented their newly developed Control and Drive platform. The new common look and feel demonstrates the system character and compatibility throughout the entire system. The Compax3 Servo Drives feature a range of fieldbus interfaces which include Ethernet, Ethernet Powerlink (EPL), Profibus, DeviceNet, CANopen and RS232/485. Additional real-time Ethernet fieldbusses are also available as an option. With power output levels ranging from 1 to 110 kVA (1.5 to 155 amps), Compax3 devices are equipped with the Safety Function according to EN954-1, cat 3, and supports a wide range of motor technologies including asynchronous-, synchronous-, linear- and torque-motors. Of course, a wide choice of feedback devices can be used with the servo drive – such as resolvers, rotary and linear encoders, distance-coded encoders, Hiperface and EnDat encoders, as well as analog- and digital-hall sensors. SSI encoders, with absolute position information as a source for electronic CAM or position correction functions, complete the range of feedback systems permitted
