Parker Zander FBP filtering and drying system ensures maximum air quality and efficiency in food, beverage and pharma industry applications

Energy saving and durable solution features six stages of purification during which eight most important contaminants are reduced 

Gateshead, UK. 31. May 2018 – Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, has introduced a new filtering and drying system designed to cater to the needs of the food, beverage and pharma industries. The Parker Zander FBP system is a derivative of the Oil Free Air System (OFAS) product range which was introduced in early 2017. OFAS features innovative technology and ensures validated air quality as well as efficient operation, and FBP was further developed to deliver air quality that meets the extremely high standards in the sensitive areas of food, beverage, and pharma.

 

With respect to total oil from both oil lubricated and oil free compressors, FBP offers class 0 classification. This ensures highest quality air at the point-of-use for critical applications while only adding up to a fraction of the cost for a dedicated oil free compressor. The air quality is third-party certified according to ISO 7183 and ISO 8573-1, and the filters are verified according to ISO7183. The system offers six stages of purification during which the eight most important contaminants are effectively reduced. In case liquid oil or water is present at the inlet of the purification system, FBP can also be outfitted with an optional water separator and will then be able to minimize two additional contaminants.

Snowstorm-filled cartridges with high strength desiccant come with a guaranteed lifetime of five years, and the robust valve design ensures a long lasting performance.
