Parker Filtration and Separation is an international operating company and part of the Parker Hannifin Corporation. At our location in Etten-Leur, The Netherlands we produce, design, develop and market our high-quality separation products.
One of the most important applications is the production of nitrogen-enriched or oxygen-enriched air from compressed air. We manufacture unique bundles of hollow fibres, which are integrated into membrane modules and generators but also produce customized so-called OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) product-integrated solutions for specific user requirements.
An Innovative Organisation
Parker Filtration and Separation possesses in-house expertise and technology covering all product aspects down to the finest details. The R&D Department works on the following generations of hollow fibre membranes for gas separation and develops its own production tools. The Product Development Department focuses on how we can best serve the market, and develops and assembles new products in response to specific market demands. In this way, we aim to deliver maximum added value to our customers.
At Parker Filtration and Separation, our dynamic and innovative teams have built up a clear technology leadership position. Innovation is part of our company’s genetic profile. We anticipate new market developments by remaining very attentive to the issues, wishes and signals coming from our customers. We generate, present and discuss solutions. In doing so, we aim to realise integrated forward-looking product developments. In other words, we think several steps ahead in order to be able to implement and integrate the desired innovations.
Future
Although the production of nitrogen generators and modules is currently our core business we believe that the Parker membrane can be used in much more ways. Parker Filtration & Separation is part of NanoGlowa (Nano structured membranes against global warming). We intend to encourage the use of our membranes for reducing CO2 emissions by energy stations. Another use of our membranes is for oxygen enrichment. Diving with Nitrox or training in a high(er) oxygen environment are well-known applications for enriched oxygen. But we believe that in the future it might even be possible to vary the oxygen level inside our house or car just as easy as we do nowadays with our heater or air-conditioning.
Various new products are under development to strengthen the position of Parker as a leading supplier of hollow fibre gas separating membranes.
