Paris, France, 5. November 2018 - Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, has launched a new range of bladder accumulators, specifically designed for marine applications. The marine EHV Series provides safe and dependable energy storage for marine applications where operation in harsh and demanding environments is typical.
A new bladder material called Igloo (Type code 10) has been specially developed for the marine EHV accumulator to deliver the required performance in cold climates and enable operation in temperatures from -30ºC to +80ºC. Offering a pressure of 350-bar, the marine EHV has the highest standard pressure available on the market for marine applications. Pre-approved with DNV GL for up to 350-bar, it is designed to provide a cost-effective solution and is available on short lead times.
Safety is one of the principle benefits of the marine EHV. The 350-bar pressure rating provides additional energy capacity, which can be used as a safety factor when replacing a lower pressure vessel.
All EHV marine accumulators have a unique code so that customers can utilise the Parker Tracking System (PTS), which facilitates quick-and-easy access to all relevant product documentation.
Volume capacities range from four to 50 litres, and approvals in addition to DNV GL, are available on request.
