In addition, standard English-unit O-ring sizes found in AS568, MS28775, BS1806, and other aerospace industry standards. Parker’s unique 5-xxx “semi-custom” O-rings are available without a charge for tooling or setup. If an application cannot use an existing O-ring, Parker also offers custom O-rings of nearly infinite size range. O-rings can form a static or dynamic seal. A static seal is where the O-ring does not move and is used simply for containing pressure or maintaining a vacuum. Dynamic seals can be reciprocating.
