Parker Hannifin Europe operates two graduate programmes: Engineering and Finance Management. 

The Engineering Graduate Training Programme recruits 1-2 trainees in the U.K. The duration of the programme is 18-24 months, with three placements of between 6 and 9 months completed within this timeframe. 

The goal of the program is to develop the graduate’s management potential by exposure to a range of experience and knowledge relevant to Parker’s European operations. A strong contribution at each division placement is expected by the graduate.

The Graduate has overall responsibility for the progression and success of their own programme. Their mandate is to seek out projects, responsibility and opportunity.

The placement Line Manager will ensure that the graduate is assigned to challenging projects and appropriate training programmes. The graduate will be allocated a mentor during the course of the programme. The mentor will provide a business, technical and personal role model for the trainee, meeting quarterly with the graduate to ensure all MPDS core skills are completed.
