These systems provide flexibility for waste heat disposal from a liquid to another medium or liquid. Scalable-capacity designs incorporate Parker pumps, accumulators, motors, advanced motor logic controllers, seals and quick disconnects compatible with a variety of dielectric liquids including PAO, PGW, HFE and FC72. Designs can be ruggedized for MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461E requirements or customized for applications such as lab environments and commercial aircraft.
Parker’s RPC solution combines localized cooling of hot spots with low development costs by using standard components specifically designed and tested for harsh military environments. Parker’s modular components are readily configured in retrofit applications where electronics technology has outgrown existing cooling solutions. The RPC solution is well suited for radar, power electronics and high performance computing applications where local heat loads range up to 1.5 kilowatts and system loads reach 135 kilowatts. Using this superior localized cooling, customers can remove bulky, heavy, expensive and inefficient air cooling and air handling systems.
Parker’s lab air heat exchanger (LAHX) is a stand-alone, easy-to-operate liquid-to-air heat exchanger for use with our thermal management enclosures in environments such as laboratory, integration and test facilities. The LAHX rejects up to 1000 watts of heat to ambient air. Variable speed fans make it possible to maintain the electronics housed in Parker TMS enclosures at desired temperatures. Quick-disconnect fluid fittings provide a convenient tool-less interconnect between the LAHX and our enclosures. Replaceable fluid filters remove particulates and chemicals. The LAHX is lightweight and portable, making it easy to move around a laboratory, integration or test facility. With the standard hose assemblies, the LAHX can be located up to five feet from an enclosure.
