Global Product Safety Testing
Chomerics has extensive safety testing experience to evaluate products and determine conformance to global requirements. Our state-of-the-art laboratory includes a temperature/humidity chamber, computer controlled equipment to perform leakage testing, and a ground controlled programmable power source. These enable us to evaluate your product to all power line voltage and frequencies.
European Requirements
CTS can provide product evaluations to U.S. Low Voltage, Medical Device and Machinery Directives. Services can include product evaluations to the product safety standards, and assembly or evaluation of technical files when making a CE Self-Declaration. We can provide verification reports outlining conformance to product specific standards, third-party review and certification programs including notified body review.
U.S. and Canadian Requirements
Chomerics will review your product for conformance and provide the reports to UL and CSA standards. We will coordinate with Nationally Recognized Test Laboratories (NRTL), such as Underwriters Laboratories, to provide our clients with domestic Safety Agency Approvals. When submitting a product to Chomerics Test Services we can reduce the length of time to achieve an NRTL Certification. Automated testing, flexibility of our schedule, as well as less agency involvement will save our customers time and money.
Chomerics can also provide product evaluations and Safety Agency Approvals for Japan (MITI), Australia and SEMI requirements.

Testing and Certification
Manufacturers of electronic devices, facing compliance with FCC, EC, VCCI, IEC 1000 (formally 801) EN 61000 Series, CISPR, Austel and EU regulations, have brought their equipment to the Chomerics Test Facility for verification and certification. Our depth of experience and constant exposure to real-world EMI/EMC and safety problems in the commercial marketplace proves vitally important to our customers when it's time to test, particularly when deadlines are near. If emission or immunity problems are found, we're in position to fix them quickly. With on-site EMI design engineers and materials manufacturing, a cost-effective manufacturable solution can generally be integrated into your system.
