How to Play: The ParkerStore™ “Champions for Children” Fundraising Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”, or the “Sweepstakes”) sponsored by Parker-Hannifin Corporation (the “Sponsor”), in support of local charities and in cooperation with Sponsor’s local participating independent ParkerStore™ Distributors, via the Tony Stewart Foundation (“TSF”), begins at 12:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on September 1, 2008 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on November 15, 2008 (the “Promotion Period”). Customers of participating ParkerStore ™ Distributors will be able, with or without making a donation, to complete and submit a sweepstakes entry at the Distributors’ ParkerStore™ location, and have an opportunity to win prizes. All cash donations made by customers and collected by Distributors will be forwarded to the TSF, then subsequently redistributed to one or more local charity/not-for-profit organizations chosen by the respective participating Distributors, on a local market basis. There is no limit to the number of entries that may be submitted during the Promotion Period. Odds of winning are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received.
Eligibility: The Promotion is open only to those individuals, age 16 or older, who are legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. Officers and directors (including immediate family members and members of the same household) of the Sponsor, its advertising and promotion agencies, the participating ParkerStore™ Distributors, and any other individual or organization directly involved with this Sweepstakes (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities”) are not eligible to participate.
Prizes: Grand Prize. There is one (1) $2,500 value Grand Prize which includes a $500 voucher to attend the Richard Petty “Rookie” Driving Experience during 2009, and $2,000 in American Express® Gift Cheques. First Prize. There is one (1) $1,500 value First Prize of a $325 package to attend the 2009 “Prelude to a Dream” NASCAR® Race in Eldora, OH, and $1,175 in American Express Gift Cheques. There are twenty (20) Third Prizes consisting of the following;

Prize Drawing and Notification: The prizewinners will be selected in a random drawing, under the supervision of an Independent Sweepstakes Administrator (the “ISA”), on or about December 5, 2008, from among all eligible entries received. Each Grand, First, and Second Prize winner will be notified via telephone, and confirmed in writing that they are a potential prizewinner, within one week of the drawing date. In the notice, the ISA will provide all necessary documentation that the winner must execute before being entitled to be the confirmed winner, and redeem their prize.
Major prize winners (defined as a winner of a prize of $600 and over in value) will each be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and, where legal, a Publicity Release (collectively, the “Release Documents”), within seven (7) days of written notification. Failure to provide these documents within the stated time period may result in disqualification, and an alternate winner being selected.
Prize Conditions and Limitations: All entries become the property of the Sponsor. Only one (1) prize per person. No substitution or transfer of prize is permitted, and no cash equivalent for any prize is offered, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. All prizes will be shipped to the address provided on the sweepstakes entry within 4 weeks of winner selection. In no event shall more prizes be awarded than the number stated in the “Prizes” section above. All federal, states, and local taxes on prizes offered, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission from the winner to the Sponsor and its agencies to use such winner’s name and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes, without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. All merchandise prizes are awarded “as is” with no at-law or implied warranties whatsoever, and sponsor reserves the right to substitute a merchandise prize with one of equal or greater value, should any prize become unavailable for any reason beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control. In the case of cancellation of any of the aforementioned racing events, the race venue’s cancellation policy will apply, and the Sponsor has no further obligation.
Note: If an individual is not able to accept a prize, due to their employer’s policy against the acceptance of sweepstakes/incentive prizes, the prize will be awarded per the terms of such employment contract, or awarded to an alternate randomly-selected prizewinner.
Sweepstakes Conditions: Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the ISA and Sponsor, and waive any right to claim ambiguity in regard to the mechanics of the sweepstakes or the interpretation of these Official Rules. Entrants and Winners also agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities, from and against any claims, damages or liability due to any injuries or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind, or any injury to reputation or privacy, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize offered, or participation in this Sweepstakes.
Sponsor is not responsible for any lost, late, misdirected, illegible, or incomplete entries, or for any printing or human errors beyond their reasonable control. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the mechanics or logistics of this Sweepstakes will be declared ineligible and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Disputes: Except where prohibited by law, all disputes concerning this promotion will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws, rule and regulations of the state of Ohio without regard to its choice of laws or conflict of laws provisions.
